Logan has been practicing the martial arts for over ten years. He was awarded his black belt in Seibukan Jujutsu by Julio Toribio Kancho in 2003, and became the assistant instructor for the Eagle River Seibukan Jujutsu dojo in 2004. In 2006, he became a student at the Alaska Center for the Martial Arts in an effort to become more well-rounded by learning Tang Soo Do.

Logan currently holds black belts in Seibukan Jujutsu, Tang Soo Do, and Enshin Itto-ryu Battojutsu, a Japanese sword art. He is also a certified instructor in Muay Thai under Master Hung Tran and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Junior.
